For the first time in months, I wake with a smile. Snuggling into the warm arm wrapped around my waist, I open my eyes and study the massive, naked warrior beside me. He’s magnificent. “Do you hurt?” Ren’s fingers carefully asses my swollen sex and I hiss at the sharp sting of pain.

“Just a little. I’m sure I’ll be good to go in no time.”

Displeased by my answer, he scoops me up in his arms and carries me to the shower. Letting my muscles loosen under the spray, I shriek in surprise as Ren drops to his knees and starts licking between my thighs. My nerve endings jump to life, masking the soreness that accompanies the pleasant sensation. Using a single finger, he enters me, and the dual stimulation forces me to relax and let my hormones take over. The pain begins to fade away, and his light touch suddenly isn’t cutting it. I want more.

I drop to my knees in front of him, taking in the way the rivulets of water drip down his naked skin. His starling blue eyes and sexy bronze skin inspire a surge of protectiveness and desire so fierce, I can’t control my need to feel him. Ren’s pupils blacken as I crawl into his lap and drag my hands down his chest. He captures my mouth, drinking me in with long strokes of his tongue. His heart beats rapidly against mine as he grabs my hips and forces my tender nub to grind against his hardness. My core clenches at the feel, and I raise up to guide him inside me. It isn’t enough. I need more. I need it all.

I slam myself down and cry out from the combination of pleasure and pain.
